@killyourfm Can we buy them somewhere?

Does anyone know the state of Vulkan on #Asahi #linux ? I am thinking of getting an M1 Mini to experiment with gaming on it but I have no idea if things work yet.

I was thinking something like PeerTube but for music. So the music or video, comments and likes. Also Playlists would be essential.

Keep it simple and efficient. That's always the way I do things.

A brainstorming post about this would be a nice idea imo.

@killyourfm I think the only solution is a social platform dedicated to music/videos. The main thing people miss most about Youtube is the music that's on there. The Fediverse is a good basis for that but releasing physical copies of records means professionals would need to be involved.

Unfortunately, I suck at programming anything but games but if need be I can also contribute any way I can. If anyone has connections to the music industry they should definitely propose something like this.

@killyourfm @codeweavers I still remember testing Linux for a Networks class in October 2018.

I thought of checking Linux Gaming after like 10 years off it, so I googled "Linux Gaming 2018".

A weird Proton utility apparently let you play Windows games on Linux without effort and was in Steam (which was also native apparently). I was surprised so I thought "Why not?".

Needless to say, an hour later I was ABSOLUTELY astounded by how well this new Proton thing worked.

@killyourfm I think it's that sense of wonder about a new medium. It's like we were all children and discovered infinite new worlds we could actually interact with. Now, with the advent of AI and BCIs I think we're gonna go to the ultimate, where you think things and they just manifest themselves in your mind. I cannot wait! :)

Perhaps computers will make their own games soon and we will just sit down and enjoy them for a week, then on to the next masterpiece! :)

But then again, Greek drivers in general are a disaster so I have stopped driving for like 9 years now. Perhaps I'll get back to it when I move to another country. :)
