   Welp. I definitely like my gaming laptop a lot less now 🤣😢
   I've never seen Forza Horizon running at 4K, completely maxed out, with Ray Tracing on High. And it STILL achieves 120+ FPS?!

   Yea, so... I might need to acquire or build myself a proper desktop PC again.

   (This is for my upcoming Omen 35L review)

     I just did another benchmark run while using Geforce Experience to record at 4K, 50Mbps bitrate.

     I lost a whole 2 FPS. . .

     PS: Yes, I will absolutely be putting a Linux distro or two on this beast. Just need to get the Windows data and impressions first.

     @ReverseModule Oh that's a shame. I thought Wayland had support for HDR. But I'm seeing that maybe it's limited to Gamescope?

     @killyourfm What are the specs? For newer games, if you're on Nvidia you'll be missing HDR and DLSS3 FG which are huge blows for Linux. That's why I keep a Windows partition to make use of these two features on games like CP2077 and Wukong.

     @ReverseModule Core specs are pretty straightforward: Ryzen 7-8700G, Nvidia RTX 4080 Super, 4x16GB Kingston Fury. The mainboard is HP-branded but I don't think there's anything proprietary to be concerned about. It can be swapped with any Micro-ATX board.

     @killyourfm Wayland has HDR Support on AMD but there's a bug in egl-wayland with Nvidia and colors will be washed out most probably.

     That's why I asked for the specs. XD
