I wonder if anyone has written code to figure out how to modify a QR code with a minimum of changes, to make it point to a url you control?
Like, "sharpie in a pixel here and here, and now that MLM sticker on the stop sign goes to goatse"

  Not trivial with the error correction and redundency in QR codes. This is a working QR code after all.

  1. Animated QR code. The pixels of the QR code change to play a short, low-resolution animation of Rick Astley dancing. Scanning the QR code at any point in the animation gets you the same URL for a youtube video of Rick Astley singing "Never going to give you up".

  @foone I was thinking about this the other way, minimal changes to existing popular images to turn them into functional QR codes
