i don't think i can use the 450 MHz band in the UK any more than i can use the 800 MHz band sadly. but yes i like how non-fussy osmocom-analog is, and the code is very readable too. excellent work by, i think, @LaF0rge?

@pinskia um, i'm pretty sure structs being a part of the ABI is a rather normal thing

yeah i love fat shared libraries (libraries with both PE and ELF headers that refer to the exact same executable code. for compatibility.)

(the PE header starts at 0x80, and conveniently, the ELF file header ends at 0x40. basically everything else lives at offsets specified in the file headers, so you can have both)

all you need to add is compiler-generated thunks adjusting the calling convention

i'm not sure if structs have a different layout. i think aligntment rules may be slight different? in any case, i can envision a kind of preprocessor smoothing over the differences

so yesterday i was feeling badly enough that i took somewhere between 4-5 grams of progesterone. oral p4 is metabolized into allopregnanolone, so this basically had the effect of giving me a deep benzo blackout

today i've retraced all of my steps during the roughly 5-10 hour long blackout interval. in that time i have:
- backed up and fixed Signal Desktop
- wrangled crypto to buy some estradiol cypionate
- discussed in depth the research concerning isoforms of phosphodiesterase 11

frankly i don't have patience to deal with Signal Desktop when sober

i also apparently experienced a *lot* of suicidal ideation at the same time, which i made sure to post only in spoilers and with a clear content warning

i'm very normal

it's honestly pretty wild to have a glaring memory gap, go digging through logs and history and such, and discover that despite the extreme impairment what i have done is discuss medical papers with a biologist i know in perfectly clear, grammatically correct English, and in a fairly nuanced way
