   every time someone shows me a 'good example' of LLM code, it's either a boilerplate webapp, or a wrapper that adds nothing except a shitload of bugs to the API of a mature open source library made of real human labor.

   the thing LLMs for code excel at is making you think you wrote someone else's code.

     what's very funny about the 'accessibility' narrative is that it is companies like Facebook and Microsoft that have saturated the open source space with technologies that assume you have an entire Facebook's worth of expertise to maintain and use them, and now it's companies like Facebook and Microsoft that are selling the tools to gain access to the universe of convoluted tooling they created
