@clacke Well, underwater speakers exist, but they are a bit special. Maybe look for something intended for use outdoors or around pools.

@clacke It can also mean that something is possible but very difficult. Like riding a unicycle on a slack rope. A few people can do it, but if it's the only option for crossing a river, most of us are better off not trying.

@clacke One of the best index jokes has to be the entry "sea water, see water, sea" from the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.

@clacke Milton Keynes is probably as boring as its reputation, but Bletchley Park nearby is well worth a visit.

@sun @clacke @Nudhul Over here they put a sticker on the box.
Blister packs are nice because it's easy to count how many have been taken, and they are tamper-proof.

@Nudhul @clacke @sun Any idea why? Blister packs seem much safer to me.

@clacke I have "my doctor" in the sense that I'm registered with a practice. I've never so much as spoken with them, though.

@clacke @sun I've also wondered if American drugs really come in orange plastic bottles rather than blister packs like everywhere else.

@clacke Another thing I've noticed is Americans casually talking about "where they get their meds" or similar. If you're not taking at least two or three prescription drugs, you're not seen as normal.

@dirksteins @arnd @KeyJ It's a huge constant expression that gets evaluated by the compiler. The final code is (probably) fine.

@dirksteins @arnd @KeyJ There's no reason to doubt the correctness, but as has been noted, it is somewhat slow.
Now as shocking as this might be, it is quite tame compared to the boost C++ library.
