   Is there a manufacturer out there who specializes in speakers that can handle high humidity?

   I live in a very humid city, and speakers are basically consumables here. A laptop that had worked fine for a decade blew out its speaker membranes in two years after moving here. I bought external speakers, same thing. I would like to stop this revolving door of speakers.

   The TV has been fine for a near-decade somehow, so it's definitely possible. Maybe it's easier with bigger speakers, I don't know.

     @clacke Well, underwater speakers exist, but they are a bit special. Maybe look for something intended for use outdoors or around pools.

     @mansr My latest speaker that is already going a bit hoarse is a shower speaker, but I suppose it was a cheap one. 😅

     Today's attempt is that I bought a speaker loud enough that I should be able to run it at around 50% volume most of the time.
