And I store them extremely cautiously, away from heating sources or humidity or anything, literally, in their original boxes inside a drawer.
Most people take considerably less precautions, but they ought to be luckier than me.

@sickburnbro I see, the so called "Boris" storm (propaganda levels through the roof, yeah) made a mess in Europe too, but here emphasis on maintaning infrastructural necessity is a bit less overrun by the seething suits screeching "profit" so it was probably that.
Things weren't exactly good here, either, but were managed, somewhat, with a quick and coordinated response as soon it became a common problem for that many states.
Germany in particularly provided quick aid to both Austria and Poland , so there was no shortage of helis and materials.
From what I am seeing american response lacked in timing and resource, is this correct from your perspective?

@sickburnbro Had a similar occurrence here in Europe, water swept across much of it, from Austria / Germany to Poland, Czechia, Roumania etc,etc

But main infrastructures managed to hold , and to say, hurricanes and huge water bombs here aren't common at all, one/two in a couple decades at best.
Seen videos from America with houses, bridges etc,etc swept away completely by the tide, expected something more by your infrastructures but those may be in a considerably worse shape than european ones, which I didn't imagined at all, honestly.

Always said that comfort and relative peace + wealth are a terribad combo in creating a warrior caste.
As long as people will feel that they have more to lose than to gain by opposing the system, most people will quietly sit it out and go along, trying to fly under the radars.

I mean, I wouldn't want to associate with them either, I'd rather to have them on the sidelines or under a non's machete than to actually have to care for them, at the current stage that is.
