In 2019, the grave of SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich was dug up and opened. The bones however were not disturbed. The grave was in an unmarked location somewhere in the Invalids' Cemetery, which is one of the oldest cemeteries in Berlin, originally used for soldiers of the Prussian Army since 1748. The location of Reinhard's grave was kept secret to prevent it from becoming a shrine for National Socialists, implying whoever opened the grave had inside knowledge. So if they didn't open the grave to desecrate the remains, what were they looking for?
In 1935, Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler established The Ahnenerbe, an organization for researching Germanic heritage and cultural artifacts. By 1938, the organization had expanded to include searching for ancient legendary artifacts around the world and in particular, the Holy Grail. Millions of Reichsmarks were diverted to this task. By the early 1940's expeditions to find the Grail suddenly died down.
In mid-1942 while acting as Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated. He was given an honorable burial and his coffin was placed somewhere in the Invalids' Cemetery. Heydrich had been head of the Sicherheitsdienst (SD), which was the intelligence agency of the SS, and he reported directly to Himmler. Heydrich and Himmler were close friends. So, did Himmler hide the Holy Grail in Heydrich's grave? Did an esoteric Nazi discover this information and track it down to unlock eternal life? -

The Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871. Emperor Napoleon III, under pressure from the press and "public opinion", declared war on Bismarck and King William I of Prussia, hoping to reclaim France's 1814 borders and prevent German Unification.
Prussia quickly overran France, capturing Napoleon III at the battle of Sedan 1870. Napoleon III was the last European ruler to command from the battlefield. Back in Paris, revolutionaries deposed the absent monarch and created the Paris Commune, burning down a significant portion of Paris, notably excluding the Rothschild's residence.
The German empire was proclaimed in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles, January 18th 1871. Alsace-Lorraine was issued a plebiscite where it voted to join the Second Reich. From 1871 to 1918, the French had a saying about Alsace-Lorraine: "Speak of it never, think of it always." -

@King_Noticer @Gran3Walder That was the last good one but it was more of a pirate game than a AC game. Good writing though. Ubisoft fired the original creative director after brotherhood, he wanted a 6 game story arc with a few years between releases to make it good, Ubisoft wanted annual releases that would never end which ended up burning out the franchise. This is why revelations was a glorified DLC with shit writing, and AC3 was boring and killed off Desmond. -
