     @eee @Fash-E @Ghislaine @yockeypuck Incidentally, in 1941 Japanese formed by far the largest ethnic group in Hawaii (160,000 Japanese vs. 105,000 Whites, for comparison) It's a bit of a stretch to say it was even rightly American land.

     @Fash-E did they actually know about pearl harbor in advance? the Japanese had a bunch of codes some of which were broken some weren't. I thought the UK got caught with their pants down too in that same pacific blitz too
