    @sickburnbro @Mamako @amphidamant @jimmybuffettfanaccount I know they lowered standards for getting a diploma or GED. I do not know if you need to pass standardized testing to graduate or just pass the minimum class requirements where there's a lot of fudge factor.

    @sickburnbro @amphidamant @jimmybuffettfanaccount if you want to see real world examples, black school districts are a fascinating petri dish. Everything since No Child Left Behind (another great demagogue) has been exactly what you described. Funding is dependant on test scores; the worse the score, the more funding you get. The teachers/admin need graduating students to read at a 6th grade level so they can maintain their standard of living. More money funneled into niggers while White areas have higher property taxes to fund their school levies. Two lib teachers I know, completely separate from each other, described the same shit since they taught in different school districts. Both were scolded for trying to get the classes interested in learning. Both left those districts because of it.

    Its not just a deference to authority but a complete indefference with your own interests and worth.

    @sickburnbro it seems more like a magician having you focus on his right hand so you don't see his left. The absence of cell phone videos is the concerning part. Thinking more about it, there were videos (during the lockdowns) of plane loads of illegals. Then it fades from attention, and hasnt been brought back yet.
    When Texas was bussing illegals to NYC, the numbers the Mayor was shouting
    We gots 80 thousand migrants
    We gots over 100 thousand migrants
    Like Texas sent all them Texas only sent 12k. Where'd the other 70,000 come from?

    Shit bothers me that I have no answers for it.

    @sickburnbro couple years back there were videos from airports with conference rooms full of illegals freshly flown in by non-protfits. Logo'ed bags, nice clothes, new shoes.
    This is never brought up. NGOs flying illegals in, getting past customs or any flow control, and dumping them across the US. Funded (as I understand) by Federal grants.

The people that need to be running the show will never be close to the offices because the corruption wouldn't allow and they'd have no interest in being surrounded by shit. This is the case all the way down to local govt and business

    @BowsacNoodle @Stagg_3751 I just rewatched Tommy Boy last night with the wife, and that's a solid observation. As stupid as the movie is, the end scene where Farley's on his dinghy monologuing to his dead father is a feel good scene. Its the ending, wrapping up the story of carrying on legacy and making your pops proud. There are no endings anymore, nothing, just emptiness.

    @sickburnbro wait until they find out that the more technology gave you control and options, it gave you equally more convoluted, circuitous, and unnecessary sysyems. Compounded by bureaucratic oversight, mandates and codes; what used to be a phone call to a competent human is now automated systems requiring every bit of information about you, with no wiggle room for humanity or changes to itinerary (on your end) but endless seas of horseshit to navigate and the only lifeline is Ramu Kaka.
