The people that need to be running the show will never be close to the offices because the corruption wouldn't allow and they'd have no interest in being surrounded by shit. This is the case all the way down to local govt and business

@BowsacNoodle @Stagg_3751 I just rewatched Tommy Boy last night with the wife, and that's a solid observation. As stupid as the movie is, the end scene where Farley's on his dinghy monologuing to his dead father is a feel good scene. Its the ending, wrapping up the story of carrying on legacy and making your pops proud. There are no endings anymore, nothing, just emptiness.

@sickburnbro wait until they find out that the more technology gave you control and options, it gave you equally more convoluted, circuitous, and unnecessary sysyems. Compounded by bureaucratic oversight, mandates and codes; what used to be a phone call to a competent human is now automated systems requiring every bit of information about you, with no wiggle room for humanity or changes to itinerary (on your end) but endless seas of horseshit to navigate and the only lifeline is Ramu Kaka.
