@DurpState yea, stepdad says it's a little brown so it should be changed, cuz it's supposed to be red

@givenup did you check the transgender fluid?
-

@givenup @DurpState Change it, drive a few miles, then change it again. You usually only get ≈½ of the gender fluid out after each swap. So it will be only 25% impure after two changes. Usually best to change it when it's hot. Make sure it doesn't look milky, since that means water.

@EnnaComa @BowsacNoodle @DurpState the transmission actually needs rebuilt anyways or replaced, but finding a replacement is pretty impossible we've looked.

@givenup @EnnaComa @DurpState You should rebuild it then. DIY it. That's an incredibly good skill and you have the time. You can make good side money doing it.

@BowsacNoodle @givenup @DurpState it's unbelievable what new fluid can do. I can name two times when I thought my truck was fucked to the tune of thousands of dollars, but a coolant flush one time and flushing the brake fluid the other time fixed it.
Watch some YT videos and you'll get it.

@BowsacNoodle @EnnaComa @DurpState coupled with the fact i'd start a project that literally puts my vehicle out of comission until completion with no knowledge how to do it at all, it's not a good idea.

@givenup @EnnaComa @DurpState It actually doesn't take as much time to learn as you'd expect. YouTube is very handy for this sort of thing. You'd have to want to do it or have the interest though.

@BowsacNoodle @EnnaComa @DurpState yea no shit, it's not a porject that would take a few hours to even learn and you can't just jump in without knowing anything.

@tyler @DurpState @EnnaComa @givenup I would do a pit if I were you. Way safer and you already have experience building pits.

@BowsacNoodle @givenup @DurpState yeah it goes quick if your a mechanical mage. Especially working in the driveway, with no lift, with a basic bitch socket set.
I can turn a simple brake pad job into 8 hours.

Guess I'd need to get a concrete saw

@tyler @DurpState @EnnaComa @givenup Just a blade, right? It's a painful time digging out concrete. Maybe building a new pit instead of digging out an existing garage makes more sense...

@tyler @DurpState @EnnaComa @givenup temu lift it is, yes? At least hydraulics seldom suffer catastrophic failure. It's more the welds I'd worry about.

@tyler @DurpState @EnnaComa @givenup Thats extra. The paint hides their sloppy welds.

I'll go over all of them with 6010 then 7018
maybe they'll give me a discount if I tell them I want it unpainted
