Every Australian needs to read this and write to Albanese to STOP AUKUS PAYMENTS NOW.
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/feb/05/not-delivering-any-aukus-nuclear-submarines-to-australia-explored-as-option-in-us-congressional-report?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other

We have utterly been played for fools. Thanks to Morrison.
In 2025 we were scheduled to pay 4 instalments of $800,000,000 to Trump for AUKUS - ostensibly to pay for the shipyards needed to build our subs.

This seems now to be a total joke: we are paying America to build subs that THEY will use and control.

$3.2 billion just thrown at USA for the crappiest deal under the sun. Albanese could've used that to build homes for young families or infrastructure for been energy or support money for bushfire affected townships or aged care salaries or HECS reduction .. or .. or ..

But no its gone to Orange Turd bc Albanese refuses to reduce dependence on America.
    Im way beyond rageful.

Im not into face scanning. It terrifies me. Coles supermarket here in Australia scans customers at the self serve check outs. I didn't realise till it was too late and I was on camera. So my face is out there. Customers weren't told prior.

Airports scan you now. Didn't ask for that either. Give me a human any day.
    Doha airport fingerprints you.

I think Europe needs to do a Go Fund Me to buy up any number of states. Start with Florida then re-educate the cult brainwashed MAGAs.

Back in the 1980s we had rolling strikes in teaching.
Odd days, mornings and afternoons rather than going out on strike long term eg the crippling miners strike against Thatcher's govt.

Im not a fan of open ended strikes at all.
My husb and i were both teachers in the UK. We had 3 young children so losing multiple days earnings in a teachers strike had massive knock-on for us.
It's not sustainable for most workers.

We used to alternate days... it wasn't ideal by *any* means and being a scab on the days in was v v hard. Not bringing in money wasn't an option either.

The problem is, that America hasn't moved on from three Wild West days. America is still Wild West and, despite the glitz of 21st Century consumerism, it's a highly immature and rogue society that frankly needs to grow up and join the adults.

I voted for Labour in Australia thinking they were the party that listened to the ppl. How wrong was I.

1/ The Prime Minister has belatedly *only just* signed the international letter condemning Israel over the Gaza War. They refuse to criticise Netanyahu for fear of being labelled *anti Semitic*
They stand by while a population in Gaza starves to death.

2/ They have struck deals with US to supply us with crap US beef that is way inferior to Australian home grown.

3/ they have just sent another $800,000,000 to US for Aukus and Virginia class submarines that we will never get bc the Americans don't have the expertise or resources to build them. And that's aside from the fact the Americans want any subs they build for themselves.
A COMPLETE DEAD DUCK when we need the money here to lower energy bills, improve hospitals, improve schools, support NDIS + Aged Care and pay down student HECS (uni fees).

All because our Prime Minister has got his head so far up Trump/Netanyahu's asses he just can't see.

We are now witnessing a fascist leader of USA sending troops into a Democratic state to fire rubber bullets onto his own citizens, against the wishes of that state's govenor, simply bc he can and they aren't his supporters.

    Albanese has refrained from any criticism of Trump;
    Albanese is reiterating "business as usual";
    Albanese has said in recent weeks that he does NOT see a situation whereby Australia would not support USA;

Albanese is not representing the views of the majority of Australians who are horrified at what is unfolding in USA

On the surface it doesn't make sense why Hamas, a small violent terrorist political group, would attack civilians at a music festival of one of the most elite military countries.

However ... Hamas (Sunni) is in bed with Iran (Shiite). An oddity. But Iran will do ANYTHING to undermine Saudi (Sunni) from building closer ties between Saudi+Hamas and Saudi+Israel.
    WHY?

Its always about (1) oil (2) money (3) influence and (4) Saudi trying to stay buddies with the West.
Its also about Iran wanting to stop Saudi, as a big player, making wider peace in the Arab region.

Iran wants a slice of that nice little oil-money pie and wants to stop Saudi. To that end Iran has been in bed with Russia for years. Russia + Iran buy and supply each other with arms,  minerals, intelligence and know-how.

Russia as puppeteer has A LOT to gain from war in the ME, by destabilising any  relationship that Israel might tentatively initiate with Saudi, by disrupting the flow of oil in the ME (so Russia can sell its own oil) and by pulling US into a ME war, which Biden will avoid at all costs.

Remember Biden has a loyalty to the Israeli citizens but does NOT respect or agree with Netanyahu or how he is running this conflict.

    So follow the paper trail.
    Hamas is supported by Iran.
    Iran is  supported by Russia.
Putin is actively disrupting the ME. Putin deflects attention/money/weapons from Ukraine and the Republicans block funding for Ukraine.

Putin takes Ukraine (while the West has taken its eyes off the Ukraine ball) the biggest supplier of grain in the world.
Putin disrupts oil supply in ME and supplies Russian oil to China and any country in the global market who needs it.
Putin threatens stability in Europe via war in Ukraine and conflicts in ME.

Putin is an evil f**ker and MASSIVE problem. Trump/ MAGAs are playing like fools right into his hands.

From Australia I'm absolutely terrified of what's going on in USA. We have the prospect of a criminal being elected, who will further remove citizens' rights and freedoms once he has secured their votes, ignore the constitution and norms of democracy with impunity.

The insanity of the "Christian" far right, with a brainwashed, uneducated support base and elite, monied corporate friends, will lead USA out of NATO and into an alliance with thug leaders around the world.

The free press will be silenced as in Hungary. Voting will become impossible as in China. Corruption will be rife as in India. Retribution will be a norm as in Russia.

NATO will be weakened giving Putin the green light to take Ukraine Moldova Lithuania Estonia and Poland. Any attempt to stop his advance in Europe will be met with a nuclear threat with zero support from an American former ally.

The election in USA is critical: a Trump win will herald in the end of global stability and we non Americans have zero voice to do anything about it.
    Sheer horror.

@djsumdog @mekkaokereke @run_atalanta @eridukid The whole point about racism is that the root problem is the structures that support it. Many of which are so long-term ingrained in the system that they are almost impossible to break down.

Hence the good guys who whistleblow are seen as snitches and victimised for stating the obvious, that too many police jurisdictions are mind bogglingly problematic and racist.

Dismantling racist structures is the first but critical step. It requires listening to the victims, detailed understanding of the issues and a political will to purge the evil AND explain to citizens WHY that needs to be done. #policecorruption #racism #firstnations

@djsumdog @mekkaokereke @run_atalanta @eridukid So leave everything as it is?

If you have a law (let's take car lights) and youre pulled over bc a rear light is out, statistically if you are black the likelihood is that you will end up being arrested, but warned if you are white. So is it in black DNA to be criminal? I don't see that. Rant at me if you want, but my white skin will ensure that I'm HIGHLY unlikely to be victimised for a light.

Statistically there are far more blacks in jail for possession of small quantities of weed than there are white bankers or advertising execs with cocaine and pills. Work that one out.

There is enough distrust of police to indicate a major problem. Misuse of power can be the drug of choice for any officer, of any ethnicity.Wherever it occurs, its a problem that needs excising. Police tend to use that power in poor black towns and districts more than the luxury condos, mansions and churches of leafy Vermont or Maine. So why?

Irrespective of whether a state or council or district has black civil servants, its the underlying imprinted attitude towards "nasty black ppl" as opposed to "clean livin Christian whites" that's the problem. That's how racism works and is the result of *centuries* of systematic abuse.
