Wife caught Norwalk Virus. Brought it home. My body, already exhausted from clearing snow, welcomed the new virus with open arms.

We had to ship our kid to my mom's to avoid further spread.

We've both been crushed, with my wife getting the worst of it. It's hard to provide care for someone else when you yourself can't get out of bed. It's been miserable.

We're still weak and foggy but slowly taking steps in the right direction.

If you can read this... internet at the office is sluggish and inconsistent. We're all sort of waffling about not being able to work.

Could be solved by sending us all home early... on Valentines Day... a Friday before long weekend... just sayin!

Could be a baby boom 9 months from now if they play their cards right - HAH!

@SecondStix I don't think we have HOAs here. They sound very counter-intuitive... isn't that what government and taxes are for?

Our main roads weren't bad because of all the traffic. The side streets were like a ski hill. lots of cars on my street were abandoned when they couldn't find and traction.

The plus side is they let me work from home so that was nice I guess LOL

Happy Valentine's Day to those who celebrate. My wife woke up with a cold and my body is so busted from the hours of shoveling snow.

We got destroyed by the snow storm last night and early this morning.

I shoveled snow last night at 10pm thinking it would make for less work this morning - It did not.

We had close to 1ft of snow and 4ft snow drifts to dig out of this morning.

My poor little 21" Ego Battery Snow Blower died halfway through and needed to be recharged after an hour.

We have no where left to toss the snow... but we're expecting another dumping over the weekend 😩

@RickiTarr I'm so triggered! I was forced to return to the office because of 'collaboration' and 'brand values'. But the people I collaborate with are never in the office. So I'm driving 40-50mins one way to attend Zoom meetings.

I lose nearly 10hrs a week from commuting, hundreds of dollars in before and after-school care for my kid. I grit my teeth and get on with it because the job market is so bad. They really have us cornered.
