NFL is really riding the Rams this season. Like I'm in Toronto. Every Bills game is broadcasted here.

There have been just as many Rams games televised as Bills games around here. That's ridiculous.

Meanwhile, to watch my precious 49ers I need to catch them on an illegal stream and mirror my laptop to my big screen. And geographically, they aren't that far apart!

I wish I was into aviation and planes.

We live near / on a flight path and often have close encounters with aircraft as they land or take off.

It's quite an experience sitting in traffic while these massive mechanical miracles dart through the air, carrying hundreds of passengers.

Here's a set of photos I took from my phone while waiting at the traffic lights nearby. It's wild how close to the ground they get before landing.

I'm broke, unemployed, deathly depressed. I just dropped $200 on some collectible toys from the thrift store which I thought were a STEAL at $200. But $200 is still a big chunk of money right now when the checks aren't coming in regularly - I freelance on the side for SOME income but it's hardly enough to keep us afloat.

I'm sick with guilt. I have them hidden in the trunk of my car. I haven't told my wife in fear of her reaction.

I feel excited that I scored such a good deal. But I also know how irresponsible it was to blow that much money on toys instead of groceries or save for home or car maintenance.
