Maga imbeciles will point to NY, but as with CAs non coastal areas, upstate NY is quite conservative in places. These places, coupled with this ongoing hard on for "defunding" Planned Parenthood, which is the only rural OBGYN provider in many areas and uses a separate fund for abortions, will double down on this.

Plus once a hospital goes under the ripple effects will be generational as they will be unlikely to get the capacity back and the community it serves will force them to drive hours for even primary care. Plus many providers will stay away from communities with this prevailing mentality. #politics #healthcare #medicare
