Do people even remember when drug companies weren't allowed to engage in direct-to-consumer advertising in America? The crazy thing is that this was only legalized in 1997, and... I don't really watch any TV anymore, but every now and then I have to sit in a hospital waiting room or airport lobby and it sure seems like every other commercial is for a drug and the 10,000,000 potential side effects. 😄 I mean, we've had problems in this realm ever since the robber barons discovered what they call "philanthropy." 😆 And it's not like our 'capitalist old money overlords' reflexively hate socialists or public sector unions.. On the contrary, our public skrewl teechers unions are like the Carnegie Foundations' best friends but in the canine "man's best friend" sense of the expression. Basically, we get the worst of both/all worlds, corporate welfare and nigga kween welfare, plus the big corps add even more nigger welfare in their hiring and promotional decisions. We jus' totally fucked in the this country sux insane membrane.

    @JoeBravo77 It's amazing that there's so much Tylenol everywhere because I don't think it even works and it'd only produce genuine pain relief if you were experiencing placebo effect. Everyone's different, though, and maybe it does help some people somewhere with some particular application. Just speaking for me personally, if I have some sort of pain that's aggravating enough to warrant taking some OTC "painkiller," I'm taking ibuprofen and Tylenol is just a waste of time.

Indeed, I've even married and divorced psycho-the rapey psycho nurse women who knew I did the thing and should've known that it nailed me dead to rights as autistic but they too didn't even realize I was. But it's also the thing that heals autism, and enables me to do all the things socially that autistcs and ass burgers allegedly can never do. And I bet you want me to tell you what it is for free.     @white_male He's not wrong about anything I've heard him say about the left. I don't know much about him nor care very much, but I genuinely didn't know he was back doing this and also I distinctly remember listening to his last or final stream years ago. That's fine too, I mean, I'm a big fan of homages to Freddy Krueger. I am tired of people who leverage pity with their terminal cancer that never kills them stories told to the whole world though, but that's just my own subjective issue I suppose.     @white_male It's always just a tad bit presumptuous when anyone says they've found God after a sudden event at the end of their rope. It's not powerful, actually. What happened to Mr. Kirk though was a genuinely horrible thing that shouldn't be taken lightly or swept under the rug. It shouldn't matter if he was Saint Charles destined to be Future U.S. President like every boomer's princess or not. He was a good kid and a guy who was trying to live well in spite of the ubiquitous shit show trying to pull everyone down into the abyss and he had every right to do his public speaking and political outreach. In my view, the fact that he wasn't some untouchable celebrity superstar and more like a James O'Keefe guy who was not some pretend cloistered emperor makes his assassination 10x worse.
