It's a shithole, they're not needed anywhere on fedi unless you feel like there's a shortage of wojaks. (There's not.)

     There is no 4chan at present.

     There are a million chans (cf. https://edramatica.com/List_of_*chan_boards , https://edramatica.com/Portal:Chans ). There were also fake chans that would just present the regular frame interface but would like to a mix of boards, like the anime board from one chan and the video games board from another.
     
     I left 4chan for 711chan way back in the day (some time between the start of Project Chanology and the Chanology backlash, back when Jewlion was running 711). 711 was comfortable: you post in a thread, you come back the next week, the thread is still there, people were interesting, the mods would actively fuck with people in entertaining ways. It was also semi-allied with zerochan, which had a pretty great /mu/ board.
     
     They are probably mostly on those other chans. 4chan is like the mastodon.social of chans, it's full and it's shit and it's also packed with feds.

     It's not even maintained any more. That project has been dead for like a year. Even Poast has migrated to the regular Pleroma backend. Even Akkoma survived longer than Soybox.
