@djsumdog @apropos I has been several years since I had a #Kindle, but when I did, it was an ad-free #Paperwhite. I'm pretty sure it came ad-free rather than being tied to an account because all my siblings have Kindles tied to my parents' #Amazon account, and they have ads on their ereaders.
