I'm going to spend *hours* on a train today. Just the right time to *finally* have a look at the fantastic zines by @b0rk I acquired ages ago.

After that, some light reading like "The Shell Coder's Handbook" or somesuch.

I like not having to spend hours behind the wheel of a car.

Die anstrengendsten Preisverhandlungen sind mit Künstler*innen, die sagen "ja gib mir was Du für fair hältst" - Liebe Leute, bitte verlangt das, was ihr euch wert seid. Ich will euch *wirklich* gerne fair bezahlen und nicht aus Versehen weniger als Mindestlohn überweisen einfach nur weil ich null einschätzen kann wie lang ihr an nem Kunstwerk arbeiten musstet.

Ich lasse euch Sachen machen, weil ich das selber nicht kann. Das ist Geld wert. Im Zweifel auch viel Geld. Macht euch nicht klein.

Bin etwas gestresst von der Gesamtsituation.

Während wir von anderen als linksgrünversiffte Gutmenschen beschimpft und ausgelacht werden, weil wir von einem Feuer zum anderen hüpfen, um wenigstens die allergrößte Not zu lindern, gehen Leute, die angeblich "das Volk" repräsentieren wollen her und legen Feuer wo sie können.

Wissenschaftsfeindlich, umweltfeindlich, menschenfeindlich.

Gleichzeitig soll ich aber "auf die anderen zugehen" und "Verständnis haben" und "Größe zeigen".

Ich gebrauche mein Demonstrationsrecht jetzt *DERMAẞEN* übermäßig, dass ich für Samstag ne scheiß Mahnwache neben dem CDU-Wahlkampfstand angemeldet hab.

Ihr werdet euch noch wünschen ich wäre politikverdrossen.

Kind hat ein Schild gebastelt, heute wird mit 3 Generationen in #Ulm übermäßig vom Demonstrationsrecht Gebrauch gemacht.

Both parties have powerful lobbies, so seeing that pay out *would* be interesting.

So, ich putze jetzt mein Auto von innen und ab heute Abend bin ich dann offiziell autolos. Fühlt komisch.

Gut, weil das Verbrennerauto steht eh nur rum und kostet sinnlos Geld. Schlecht, weil "aber wenn mans mal braucht!1!"

Mal sehen, wohin mich Stadtmobil und Lastenrad und ÖPNV und Fußwege die nächsten Monate so führen und ob ich wirklich autolos bleiben will.

Samma @isotopp Du hast doch ne Zoe (gehabt?), kannst Du was zur TCO sagen? Bin am Überlegen, mir sowas gebraucht zu kaufen.

Aber ich nehm auch andere Inputs mit Freude entgegen.

Aktuell stehe ich bei Anschaffungspreis ~9k und ein paar Annahmen bei ~240€ TCO pro Monat auf 6 Jahre. Und das ist irgendwie ... blergh. Da kann ich viele Stadtmobile mieten für.

Vote third party or abstain, you directly enable Trump instead of fighting him and place your safety and well-being into the hands of the other voters, hoping you don't get fucked too hard.

I'd never have married my wife in the first place if we didn't align (somewhat) politically. We're both green/left. I see no reason why the opposite should be true for people on the other side of the political spectrum.

There *are* couples with different values, sure. How likely is it they're going to vote in the first place? Or that they're making informed choices instead of "Daddy always voted D/R/I"?
