     Ah yes, the one win wonder who seems to spend more time injured than playing. As far as I am aware she had a lot of sponsor / product endorsement deals, that have now fallen flat as she is no longer winning or progressing far in competitions.

     @goatsarah @ianb Likewise, the anti-abortion movement's longer-term goal is banning hormonal birth control, which I am afraid dovetails a little too well with the campaign to ban HRT for trans people.

     @goatsarah It always seemed bloody obvious to me. Biological essentialism never ends well for women, and fancying it up with questions like "what is a woman?" was an obvious tactic to define women as, essentially, breeding pods who should do nothing except have babies and be subservient to men.

     @goatsarah @ianb it never ceases to amaze (terrifying) me the amount of extra steps that are required to remain alive as a woman in our world - like not walking alone at night, not being alone in “weird dark places”, etc.
