Eugh. Memory awoken.

Had a product sell at 4c less costs, and 40ish % higher refunds. This was more acceptable to the business than the 4c part. And modelled fairly accurately before sales (I did some of the modelling).

Successful cost saving, because consumer affairs is someone else's bucket.

Cryptpad has a issue board dedicated to accessibility. So they do put some effort into it. Unfortunately, they've got a backlog because it wasn't something considered to begin with.

Right now, forms don't have labels, titles can't be edited, buttons can't be clicked, notifications can't be dismissed, and documentation for how to use it doesn't match how it actually works.

Someone I know was killed in the strikes on Venezuela. I was on call with them, and others have just confirmed they're dead.

A reminder that almost all Australian gov systems have gone down at least once in the last six months - not just from incompetence.

There is a large scale, persistent, attack on our systems.

Last year ASIO told business to assume they're all under attack, always.

Independent agencies are intentionally created outside of the executive branch. As such, they are not covered by presidential agency. Congress must debate and pass a motion of dismissal, to fire someone.

That's the meaning of "independent".

The employee remains fired, because the one who would enforce whether they may return to work or not, is the one who has illegally fired them.

There's a presidential order, that shouldn't be in effect, being enforced.

Like the police chief firing the plumber, but the police chief also being the landowner and stationing security on the perimeter of their rentee's property.

I have seen a few. Mostly from people who voted for Trump (didn't abstain). They do still agree with the man on a number of things, but two things have caused regret:

- Ukraine. How they didn't see it coming, I dunno.

- Musk. They agree with the purpose, but not the man or process.
