We are now at the point where health agencies will try and restrict life-saving drugs and vaccines on a whim, with no regard for evidence or due process. These are such dangerous times.

The collaborative will issue their own vaccine recommendations and coordinate public health efforts.

UPDATE: At least 19 states have issued orders to protect COVID vaccine access including AZ, CO, CT, DE, IL, KY, MA, MD, ME, MN, NC, NV, NJ, NM, NY, PA, RI, VA, and WA.

Almost all state-level orders allow pharmacies and clinics to administer vaccines without a prescription, some states have taken steps to ensure insurance coverage.

If your state isn't on this list, please contact your governor's office and ask them to issue an order to protect COVID vaccine access.

So.. since New York Governor Kathy Hochul now apparently cares about public health measures that reduce COVID spread, how about issuing at executive order that prevents mask bans and affirms the right for anyone to wear a mask to protect their health?

New York's COVID vaccine executive order will essentially allow all New Yorkers, regardless of age or underlying conditions, to receive a COVID vaccine at any pharmacy, despite greater restrictions at federal level.

It is active for 30 days, allowing time for more permanent legislation to be passed.

It's encouraging to see that states are forming regional public health alliances to ensure everyone will still have access to vaccines. They should take it one step further and include distributing free masks and tests, installing clean air infrastructure etc. The best way to prevent outbreaks is with layered protections!

BREAKING: New York Governor Kathy Hochul is set to sign an executive order allowing pharmacists to prescribe and administer Covid-19 vaccines to anyone who requests them, regardless of age or underlying conditions.

Hawaii announced they are joining California, Oregon, and Washington’s West Coast Health Alliance which will provide their own science-based vaccine guidelines and make vaccines accessible to everyone.

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

How quick we forget.

Extraordinary and alarming that vaccines are perhaps the most polarizing topic that threatens the strength of the union.

In response to the dismantling of the CDC, California, Oregon, and Washington have launched the West Coast Health Alliance, which will make their own science-based vaccine guidelines, and make sure vaccines are accessible to everyone.

Wow. Florida's Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo just vowed to end all vaccine mandates and compared them with slavery.

"Every last one of them is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery. Who am I to tell you what your child should put in [their] body?"

Illinois is currently exploring the possibility of purchasing Covid-19 vaccines in bulk straight from manufacturers to make sure everyone will still have access.
