I am wondering about Bluesky , Mastodon and Threads. After Mastodon I am now also trying Bluesky which "feels" nice , also the atmosphere is positive. But on a technical level I think Bluesky may be a dead end. When threads gets serious with federating/connecting to the Fediverse, together with Mastodon, Fediverse/activitypub will have more mass. Bluesky has chosen a different protocol sadly.

Every government organisation, publicly funded entity, should leave X as soon as possible. The platform is now even labeling investigative journalism from Bellingcat as an "unsafe" link. @DrPen ...the reality is, you should expect that everything you post on the Fediverse is used by anyone for anything, that's the nature of the protocol and the platform. If you don't want that, then use your own closed platform, don't federate etc.
