@noondlyt I appreciate the service and I often do the same. there are some wonderful accounts on here that create original works but never used alt text and I'm tired of scolding them. I don't get it.

when I do this I always feel like it's a real shame because... the additional effort assuming they created the thing is small and they are the best person to describe their work. Who am I to describe whatever it was they were trying to convey. and how can I think I've adequately captured the important parts or the appealing parts or the best parts for someone who doesn't get to actually see it... but I have no choice if I want to boost it. accessibility matters.

there are also accounts that never make stuff but just post it on here and don't bother with the alt text. that almost makes more sense because they're not putting a lot of effort into the thing anyway. no great loss there in my view
