hey guys I had this tiny problem so I reverse engineered the entire microcode of an i7-13900K
turns out the problem was caused by the CPU microcode making the binaries look like small ASCII art sausages because it fixed a bug from 1996
to fix this I just designed a new CPU from scratch and soldered it all together and now I can run the original Nintendo 64 copy of super mario 64 on original hardware
- you used filesystem snapshots as backup - you didn't check the backups worked - you didn't automate the backups - "there's nothing i care about" (there were things you care about) - you forgot the backup decryption key - "i'll do it later" (did not do it later) - you backed up the wrong thing - your backups are corrupted - you deleted the backups to save space
