While I don't think it was particularly difficult to call, I was a bit disappointed at the number of people here who were thinking it was a "self own" or a change in policy upon it first being announced

And as an autistic person, I was trying to tie both together as the opposite: "seen as debilitating by society, but just diff ways of the brain operating". Whether either is compatible with certain occupations and specific social roles is a diff question

The progression of dementia is similar to the experiences of many Autistic ppl, in terms of what fails and how other parts of the brain compensate
