@mlbellar @dana @davidaugust Resist, distract, delay one grain of sand in the machinery at a time. There are millions of us: millions of grains of sand.
    Never give up.

@br00t4c Duh. Exactly why Trump’s lawyers kept delaying everything towards the election and beyond.
And DOJ didn’t have the cojones to push their cases.

@gwaldby I still want to see how they will identify, round up, deport a million or two million people.
    To what countries?
On what? A plane, 350 at a time?
On a big boat, 2000 to where?
On a train? In freight cars? Inhumane. And Mexico will never allow the train over their border.
    At what cost to taxpayers?
Is Mexico going to pay for it?
I hope this is just ridiculous campaign rhetoric.

@WarnerCrocker That should be considered an act of terrorism.
You only see that sort of thing in banana republics trying to dump dictators.

@br00t4c Yeah, that’s not the kind of forward change she’s selling. I think she can do it without him. She’s a much better communicator for this era than ol’ Bill. He doesn’t really appeal to her target audience

@annika @albacorepark Funny how everyone says it’s small and cramped, but not really much worse than a tiny apartment in NYC or Paris, or a tiny house. Guess it’s all relative to what you’re willing to tolerate.

@thomasfuchs Definitely have been more successful in harnessing fusion energy than the billions spent on research, so far from the breakeven point of energy out vs in. Development of a commercially viable design would need to be developed after that. Then building a safe, reliable series of generating plants could begin, if we could afford to build them.
What will the polar icecaps look like by then? If they exist at all?

@noondlyt They’re clueless, brainwashed by the AM talk radio zealots who ply the airwaves in middle America, reinforced by the misinformation spread in truck stop diners. Am I generalizing? Probably. At least 58% correct?

@gimulnautti @breadandcircuses During the cold war, the educational system labeled things not capitalism as communism, never really separating socialism from communism.
The fear of losing ownership of personal property was emphasized, even though socialism allows ownership of personal property.
But under American capitalism, the 1% own mostly everything. The people own so little, because most of it is bank-financed. “Keep buying crap, keep working. Dont question.”

@TheRealKat Our country is too tolerant of those who tried to seize our democracy or take boxes of our national security secrets for personal collections yet eager to arrest women who want to control their own bodies.

@breadandcircuses There actually is no one with the charisma, skills, electability, funding connections and statesmanship who is willing to take the job and with the guts to take on the corporations, defense contractors and the wealthy (incomes over $1M) and raise their taxes to even close a fair level.

Joe is stuck in the American politics of the past. Which is still better than Trump but I hope for significant change in 4 years. Really significant change.
