bouriquet (bouriquet@mastodon.social)'s status on Friday, 20-Sep-2024 12:39:21 JST bouriquet @thomasfuchs Definitely have been more successful in harnessing fusion energy than the billions spent on research, so far from the breakeven point of energy out vs in. Development of a commercially viable design would need to be developed after that. Then building a safe, reliable series of generating plants could begin, if we could afford to build them.
What will the polar icecaps look like by then? If they exist at all? -
