@Moon It's happening all the time for me. Restarting the machine doesn't help, so I know it's not a RAM thing. I just prompted a fox-woman in a kimono after doing a human man in white pants yesterday and it put her in white pants under the kimono after about 60 other low-quality attempts to generate a good picture was created. It's really hard to learn what prompts work and what don't when it pulls stunts like this and it makes you feel like any mistakes stay with you for a long time after you make them.

@RustyCrab @icedquinn @Moon @teratology They were shocked at the level of outlets that got involved. Like NBC News, BBC, Stephen Colbert, etc. didn't have anything else to report on? The UN got involved? It was just bizarre to see the levels at which establishment ran interference for some uggo that was banging people shilling her game. I think they expected the shitpieces from woke games journalists, but not the mainstream media.

Note that it wasn't sex-for-reviews, I honestly think it was a case of games journalists and indie devs literally being in bed with one another, like a polycule, and just them trying to elevate each others' content. Still very corrupt, but just favoritism rather than quid pro quo. Also, if Gamergate did lose, it was a pyrrhic victory, since the whole thing brainbroke journalists and they started covering Trump like they did Gamergate, which shattered the public's trust in them.

It fed into feminists' victim complexes and exploited GG's crass behavior. But the fact of the matter is people that saw it all live like you and I can repeat what actually happened until we're blue in the face, but the consensus crafters we were up against managed to get their lies to stick and we're stuck screaming truths into an uncaring void. You even see it nowadays with their "Mastodon Network" bullshit. They realized anything can be the way they want it to be if they delude everyone enough, including themselves.

@Vril_Oreilly @ArdainianRight @Lavaearth Supporting indies that are more interested in making good content than DEI and encouraging piracy and emulation of AAA/trannylated/shitlib titles is the way to go going forward. Obviously, learning Japanese beyond the language and creating our own localization firm would be a good start, but I know that's not happening, and even if it did that would make Blackrock pissy, and we can't have that.

@anonicus I don't know. I never touched DQ3, it was too rare when it was out on NES and I didn't get back into JRPGs until fairly recently

@coolboymew @SNEK See, and that's a difference in two mindsets. You had the anon crowd that actually wanted to get into more than the superficial, wanted to see exactly how it got to this point, how bad it is, and who all was to blame. They found out that this took decades of pressure from various sources, starting with academia, then wormed its way into corporate America as those types started getting positions of influence. Then you had Kotaku in Action that just wanted to be mad at current thing while absolving everyone that's not current thing, whether mainstream media or game developers, of any blame, saying they're just ignorant and being fed misinformation by this small clique. That's the crowd that went SJW-lite, because in the end, they didn't want to look at the bigger picture, they were just upset that liberalism was going in a direction they didn't approve of, and once people started rejecting liberalism, they begrudgingly went back to their roots.

Some other old Autism War vets like @TheQuQu and @ChristiJunior could probably add a lot to this.
