     @anonicus I don't know. I never touched DQ3, it was too rare when it was out on NES and I didn't get back into JRPGs until fairly recently

     @anonicus If you're still looking for names, well... none of the old DQ heroes have canonical names in the games, but they were given names in other media like the mangas and audio dramas. In Dragon Quest I CD Theater, the DQ1 hero was named "Alef."
