    Kinda seems like they're just keeping their options open. Personally, I think they don't want Mario to ever marry Peach because 1) it would break up the precious status quo and 2) it would "age" Mario (that was a major reason why Marvel literally had Spiderman do a deal with the devil to retcon his marriage with Mary Jane out of existence, they wanted him all young and unfettered). The Japs especially seem obsessed with their heroes being young (look at JRPGs and anime), and from what I recall Nintendo nowadays insists that Mario is in his early 20s, which doesn't really make sense to me but whatever.

    Anyway, it's not Bowsette stocks that are rising, but those of a certain other girl...
