In Brazil, Senate can impeach SC judges. You need a vast majority (51 votes out of the 80 senators) to do it, but after the elections there are 49 senators who are openly favorable to impeaching him already (or, at least, that voiced support for the impeachment during the electoral campaign, you can never know if some of these faggots will turn coats after being elected).
It seems the SC is so scared that a lot of processes and decisions that the Right was demanding from them miraculously started flowing from the SC drawers, after years being in a limbo.
There are also talks about Bolsonaro doing some changes in the Constitution that will diminish the SC power, and avoid a single judge doing all the shit this judge did. -

@Rasterman @The_Vampire_Brigade speaking of Milei, I was reading somewhere that after all the reforms that made things look worse and waw used as ammo by leftists for saying a right wing government would be disastrous, this is the first time in 20 years that Argentine economy grows for the third year in a row. So reforms may suck in the beginning, but they work.
Honestly, I hope Bolsonaro and the right wing congress turns out to be half as evil and vengeful and reform pushing as the leftists here are doomsaying. My fear is that he will be a faggot like his dad, be a pushover and do nothing for 4 years. -

@kumicota @mischievoustomato @lain biggest advantage these Qwen models have over GLM 5.3, IMO, is that they are MoE, so they run a bit more decently on a 16GB VRAM card. GLM 5.3 is too big for one of those, and runs too slow. -

I was taking a look at "EDC" shit for ideas because I wanted to make a mini toolbox to throw in my backpack for when I'm away, and I fell into a rabbit hole of YouTuber after YouTuber showing their "bare essentials urban edc kit" and for gods sake these people walk around with 5 pounds of equipment worth $3k in their pockets everydsy. -

@tyler Oh, I have a similar story.
I think it was first or second grade, I was 6 or 7, can't remember exactly. I had a writing assignment that was "Write a story told by the character below", and the character was a local comic book character that is a hillbilly/farmer, kinda like Hard-Haid Moe, and since I was already reading for quite a while, I knew he had a very specific way of speech, since in the comics he had a very cartoonish "hillbilly accent".
So, since I was not a regular room temperature IQ like the other kids, I wrote the story exactly like the character would, so I used first person in the relevant parts, and used the hillbilly accent that he had.
Well, the teacher didn't like that, she thought I was stupid and didn't know how to write. Called my parents and made her case, I wasn't able to explain what I did because any arguments made by a child are instantly dismissed.
In the end, I had to go to "special classes" with retard kids after school. It took a long time until a less stupid teacher in said special classes realized I was too smart to be there, and asked to see what was the famed assignment that brought me there. And then she realized that the teacher was a retard, and then called my parents and told them that my place was nowhere near said "special classes".
Actually, I wager that if I was in some nice private school, I would probably be put in advanced classes or some special program for gifted kids or something like that. But, since we were poor, I had to complete my whole education in the public brainrot factory.
This happened during the 90's.
I expect things to be way worse nowadays. -
