    @sjw @matrix Pascal's wager states that it is rational to believe in god because the penalties of not believing and it being true is worse than believing and it being false
    What if the rationale for atheists is the similiar
    They look for anything to grasp onto to prove to themselves that god isnt real because they know they are terrible people who have done awful deeds and the idea that god is real horrifies them because that means they will receive proper recompense for their actions

    @jimmybuffettfanaccount @Terry I was talking to my family and my grandmother was watching this netflix show about two fags in a healthy monogamous relationship and it made me realize that if your only exposure to this stuff is through sterilized vertical slices of media anyone can be convinced to believe these groups are "just like us"
    They also have the advantage of it being uncouth to discuss
    You feel uncomfortable talking about how fags have hundreds of sexual partners and have their asshole torn from reaming so that they need to wear diapers or the involvement of turning forearm flesh into a hotdog or turning penises inside out for trannies
    Kinda like if people knew circumcision involves strapping a child down and shoving an object up his ass to get him erect so you can cut a piece of the dick off would turn the average person against it
