@BowsacNoodle @sickburnbro The party would have to adopt the rhetoric of its actual right wing voters and actually fight for and deliver on those issues for at least one generation for the party to redefine itself.

It was the Republicans who fought Trump harder than anyone in his first term, and who rubber stamped the blatant electoral fraud that kept him out of office the past four years. The Republicans even intentionally gave up a House majority in 2018 just to fuck Trump.

At this point, we're far more likely to see the collapse of the current system in the US than the unsubversion and reformation of the Republicans into a party that represents the people who vote for them.

No, these "RINOs" are not "Republicans in name only" they are, in fact, the true Republicans. It's what the party is and what conservatism is all about.
If anything, it's voters who lean right who actually vote for Republicans who are "RINOs".

Their entire ideology is based on not utilizing power when they have access to it, meaning the power vacuum they intentionally create will always be exclusively used by their Progressive allies, no matter how many elections conservatives win or what kind of majority they hold.
