@dcc Hey, professor Jiang says the same thing about Greeks. This post is basically explaining that proto-Indo-Europeans and their descendants (Germanics, Greeks, Celts, Latins, etc.) weren't gay by default. They just had a different way of conceptualizing what "gay" was. I'm defending the ancient Europeans. I'm not saying we should be those things today, I'm just explaining that the modern lens is just that, modern and context dependent. Maybe some men were actually gay. However, it is possible that some men were also just into humiliating their enemies even if we would call that very gay in our time.

The biggest mistake professor Jiang makes surrounding pagans is constantly around what was considered "gay". He seems to think pagans just had gay sex all the time and didn't think much about it, but that is very wrong. Pagans had a concept of ergi. If you, as a man, dressed as a woman, that would be considered ergi or "shameful". If you were beat in battle and another man sodomized you, that was considered ergi as well. If you beat another man in battle and sodomized them, it wouldn't be considered ergi, although in modernity we would consider that gay.

@dcc I might have to move the server to a larger drive because I need the space of the database free to do this (which I don't think I have right now). However, this will make it easier. Is it pretty straight forward to install and operate? Anything complex or difficult about it?

@dcc What is the easiest way to go about this? Repack meaning "vacuum" command right? I forget if I created a cron job for this or not. I'll have to check when I have more time. I have to shutdown the server to do this too right?

One piece of advice for males out there who are short on money all the time. I should have done this much earlier in life as it would have saved me a lot. A lot of times I grow out my beard so it can be pretty cheap when I do that but I usually have to shave at least once a year. Especially around when the seasons are changing and the temperature is either getting much cooler or warmer.

If you shave all the time it is even better but you have to avoid at all costs big brand razer blades like Gillette. I used to buy the kinds that were like the 3 blades but they cost SO MUCH. For the longest time it was just a fear of cutting myself and I thought "well the more blades the less chances of getting nicked". But I promise that once you get the hang of using a proper shaver with a single safety blade you won't go back.

I bought like a hundred pack of blades and I swear it will probably last me until I die lol. Imagine not having to buy more blades. Your mileage may vary as I don't shave every day but it is still infinitely cheaper than any big name brands. You might get nicked when sing a fresh new blade if you aren't careful but it really isn't anything to fear. Attached images is an example of one.
