    @indivisibleteam Today on the news clickbait on the phone, I saw a clip of the House republicans passing a bill and cheering. No dates. This is clearly displayed to make low information voters think the House republicans are in session and doing something.

    @RickiTarr The toilet paper commercials.
    My second worst is the drug commercials. That would change if the actors in the background during the side effects list actually acted out those side-effects.

    @mattsheffield Imagine how it would have been if all the law firms and all university heads had stood up to the Regime. But then we wouldn't know which organizations have actual fascists running them.

    @StillIRise1963 That was only possible when our corporate and legal and university leaders all started collaborating with the Regime. Like right away. no fight. Like they were already OK with that.

    #uspol From the map link: "The US Economy Split In Two: The Orange & Blue Areas Each Contribute 50% of America’s GDP"

    These are also the democratic party cities. Are the MAGA troops going to occupy these areas because they are the economic engines of the USA, or because of politics only? https://brilliantmaps.com/50-50-usd-gdp/

    @lauren Actually Mar-a-Lago needs the help. This would save having to give foreigners short term work visas. Plus the workers would qualify for Medicaid under the work requirements. "The jobs—primarily servers, clerks, housekeepers, kitchen staff and farm workers—pay between $14.17 and $23.01 an hour."

      from Zach Everson
      Since 2008, Trump’s company has filed to bring nearly 1,900 foreign workers into the U.S.—including 31 in 2025, so far—as the president’s policies target many of these workers.

    @MaryAustinBooks Collaborator is a powerful word, which made me interested in comparing which fits better for the USA corporate, legal, and educational elites helping Trump: collaborator or complicit. I hear 'complicit' a lot, but I'm going with collaborators, based upon my dictionary reading skills. Complicit is being an accomplice to the evil doer, Collaborator is contributing on one's own, not merely assisting the evil doer. These elites were closet fascists all along, it seems.
