@mcneely It could be. That would be a good route to go. Even the streaming cable platforms will black out the NHL team in my area, even though I'm 500 miles from the arena, I discovered. I ruined any savings when I picked up the Disney bundle with ESPN+ . I had VPN anyway for use in public places with my phone. ESPN+ will black out games for us, and it is always 'cat & mouse' between the networks and the VPN companies. So get a reputable VPN with lots of servers.

@tinydoctor People do read the NYT headlines in their feed though. Then if they click on it, the article is paywalled. So even if an article is fairly written, all people see is a carefully crafted biased headline. The only legacy media not like that are rags like the NY Post which are total BS. Those are purposely left open.

@_L1vY_ @nerb @cobalt @ThomHartmann yes, I got my Real ID in New Mexico and the people born on the local Pueblos had a difficult time with birth certificates, as did people from rural areas. Apparently the midwives didn't keep good records.

@ThomHartmann The move to Real ID required people to document themselves in ways similar to the SAVE act. Getting the marriage documents for Real ID was a giant headache for a huge number of women. I suspect many gave up. But many people also had trouble with the proper birth certificates, based upon what I witnessed at the DMV while getting my Real ID.

@Dhmspector the proper question for the court is one they have dealt with before: do students have the same rights as adults? Years ago they ruled on the free speech aspect of that question. Now they need to do guns.

The just say shit and don't care how it sounds, because they think it doesn't matter to the outcome. I don't know who told the human word salad spinners that, but we all have to make it wrong.
