Add the myriad ways that generational wealth has been systematically stripped from people of color & instead of acknowledging that, the implication is that whites are just some how better at life. The way the GI bill was administered to shut out black veterans, the way whole cities moved ring road construction to exclude thriving non white communities... the list is sickeningly long. All not just not taught, deliberately not.

@AnarchoNinaWrites That’s what I said. 2016 and 2020 both saw huge jumps in turnout and all of a sudden there is a drop of millions. Your statement that nothing changed with this election. 2 elections in a row with increased turnout then a drop of millions is expressly not. “EXACTLY THE SAME”

Then with a more exposed, criminally convicted tRump openly stating he would be a fascist and hey here’s our play book millions just shrugged & said “Nah, not gonna vote” So, no a drop in voter turnout of millions of Americans who had voted against tRump is not “EXACTLY THE SAME”

@AnarchoNinaWrites I don’t think even if that were true, that that explains away millions who voted for Joe just not voting nor do I think that’s a pic of her campaign. She ran on helping America solve its issues, unemployment, healthcare, old age care & manufacturing. She got lies about not doing anything about Gaza shouted at her when voters who hadn’t been conditioned to hate Dems & blame them instead of Rs would have headed the call from their religious leaders to please vote for Kamala.

Almost no voters wanted it.They were enthusiastically behind Biden.CNN’s polls after the debate showed almost no dip. If the Press ‘d been truthful & reported on tRump’s word salad, his lies & his P2025 ties w/ 1/10th the rigor they applied to one bad debate it wouldn’t have happened. The collective action needed, wanted & called for was honest reporting #VOTE #HARRIS F@CK #tRump #USPol

@pluralistic Don’t mistake that reply for me not being 1000% behind Kamala. I would have happily voted for her in 2020. Joe knew who he was picking. They’re both hard-working roll up your sleeves get the job done Dems. The media tried to erase her in 2020. They erased her off the debate stage in a promo photo The Hill reporting the best fundraising completely left her out, even though she had had the best quarter. The problem then & now isn’t the quality of the Dems it’s the MSM #HarrisWalz2024
