Trump signed an EO which can and will do many terrible things with regard to voting rights but the most insidious is the following reported by Marc Elias and Democracy Docket:

"The order mandates the Social Security commissioner must share federal databases with state and local election officials verifying the eligibility of registered voters and those attempting to register. It also charges the Department of Homeland Security and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to review state voter registration lists."

The point of Nutlick's statement was to frighten people into not calling to ask where the social security check was because they would then be flagged as fraudsters. And then the "government" would have "cause" to permanently stop your social security payments for "fraud".

If you think this is a stretch, let's go talk to the guy in the slave prison in El Salvador who had no previous criminal record which made him a suspected terrorist and gave the regime "cause" to deport him in the middle of the night.

Ok everyone the nazis have arrived here in the Fediverse. Reports are being filed against anybody who is posting creative ideas with regard to the current administration. The way to combat this is if you are an admin or moderator and this is occurring we all need to know who is filing these reports. The enemy is here and among us and the only way to stop them is to expose them.

How any person in this country can believe that life is going to be better for themselves as the worst human beings raze the populace is a level of delusion that cannot be comprehended.

The Government continuing to operate under these conditions is oxymoronic.

Obviously some people in DC think this is business as usual and do not understand the absolute fucking crisis we are in. They need to go.

This also opens the door to the possibility of anybody being able to purchase this information under the guise of AI training. ANYBODY.

This discussion is ongoing but they are talking about this as opt out not opt in because who would ever fucking opt in. 32 million users paying enough attention to opt out is highly unlikely. BS is selling a numbers game to potential purchasers and offering the illusion of control to their users.

So Bluesky is going to line their billionaire investor's pockets with money they will make allowing third party AI training companies, all funded by venture capitalists, to scrape your accounts and posts.

Before you come at me and tell me my stuff is being scraped too, just know that I am not putting any money directly into a billionaire's hands on this platform, nor is anyone on the Fediverse out to monetize my content for their own personal gain. Bluesky is an aggregator / middleman for packaging AI training.
