Also, my aunt surprised me by making soda bread! I thought about asking for it, but didn't because I didn't think there was enough time. I forgot she loves to just whip it up in the blink of an eye at the slightest notion! lol

This evening Mom went to her school reunion, (the real reason we're here, well at least one of them), and my cousin and I digitized some old camcorder tapes! It was so much fun! I might even share a clip or 2 if she ends up putting them on Youtube like we talked about. Can you still do private videos there? Anyway, tomorrow we're going to lunch at a place in the city. I won a gift certificate at an Irish festival last time we were here. Then home on Monday.

I wanted to read more TWI, but Pirate said right off at the beginning of chapter 9.29 that it was 45,000 words long, and I'm tired and have to be up really early tomorrow, so I guess 8.28 is a good stopping point, lol. Going to New York tomorrow until Monday.

I somehow ended up on Trump's mailing list. I wonder what horrible mistake I made clicking on something I shouldn't have clicked on lead to that happening.

So I give Lilo her special nightly treat, then I go to see if she wants to go out since she usually does for a little while at night. By the time I get to the door, she's eating again. Sheesh. lol #CatsOfMastodon

Speaking of brownies, I keep thinking of the injustice that when I was a little kid Little Debbie brownies had nuts in them but I didn't like nuts so I picked them out, and just about the time I started liking nuts in brownies they started fazing them out. #Food #Snacks

Good morning all! Was actually in bed before midnight and got a pretty good sleep last night! As well as dozing off in the chair first, lol.

Nothing like spending hours working hard trying to concentrate on something, fighting through afternoon drowsiness just to get it done, only to lose all my focus because Mom didn't give me a heads up that they would be hammering right on the other side of my pretty thin wall. If I had been asleep, there would've been an issue.

Yikes, according to my task manager I had 40 instances of my web browser open. No wonder it froze! How did I even accomplish that? lol

Everyone works. Most people work very hard at some point in their lives in one way or another. It's just that modern society has a pretty limited definition of work.

@Rosalyn For me it's more like I want to get back just a little more after giving people so much.

Sometimes "selfish" just means you're taking care of yourself mentally and emotionally because you feel like no one else will. So yeah, I guess I get to being selfish sometimes.

Considering how Yarsp searches all the directories at once and does play some stations I can't hear anywhere else, their search results usually are limited, and many other stations I listen to elsewhere I can't find here.
