I thought this blog post from @mapache was interesting. One big issue with #Fediverse adoption (IMO) is that you have to be here a while to figure out the right instance for you (I'm on my 4th.) But at the same time, you can't join without choosing an instance (which often ends up being mastodon.social which doesn't necessarily offer the best experience, also IMO.) Yes, you can always switch, but it's kind of a pain in the butt. It's a challenge! #Forkiverse #Mastodon
