@etebur OK, this might not be particularly applicable given that it's old and I don't use Linux, but I LOVE my Gen 8 Thinkpad Carbon X1. It's light, it's dependable, it has amazing sound quality. I like it so much I replaced the battery so I could use it a couple more years. (I got it in 2020.)

It's now been one year since a very well-known nonprofit put me through an entire day of interviews when they'd already chosen a different speechwriter candidate. I'm still pissed.

THE NEXT MORNING (the day before Thanksgiving) they informed me that they'd chosen a different candidate.

Someone they'd worked with before. Shocker.
