I thought this blog post from @mapache was interesting. One big issue with #Fediverse adoption (IMO) is that you have to be here a while to figure out the right instance for you (I'm on my 4th.) But at the same time, you can't join without choosing an instance (which often ends up being mastodon.social which doesn't necessarily offer the best experience, also IMO.) Yes, you can always switch, but it's kind of a pain in the butt. It's a challenge! #Forkiverse #Mastodon

If #AI is used to ensure that every video has a transcript I can just read instead of watching the video, then I might be less opposed to AI.

3. Be sure to add alt-text to your photos and videos. We take accessibility seriously here, and your blind followers will appreciate it.

We are cooking cassoulet for dinner, which is good news because it means we won't have to cook for the rest of the week. (It makes a TON.)

When my mom gets a text, her phone plays "I'm Donald Trump, and I approved this message." 😑😡 #Idaholiday

She also CONSTANTLY talks about food, and what she eats, and what she can't eat, and how she'll gain weight if she eats anything more than two small meals a day, and it makes me want to scream. #Idaholiday

She clearly has some sort of eating disorder. This is nothing new. I'm just grateful I'm not usually exposed to it much, because it affects me.
