@lindamarie my advice is to get over it and deal with the importance of the material. Some people didn't like it, most found it enlightening. But either way, you're in danger — this is no time to quibble over style points. Sorry.

@lindamarie sorry, I don't mean to be disagreeable. It's an extremely bad day, and I'm dealing with ongoing threats to my safety and security. The bottom line is that people need to get used to consuming some kinds of AI produced content, especially when it's the difference between getting information and not getting it at all. I do understand people's concerns about it and only would rely on such tools in the case of extreme emergencies, which this was. Obviously, it was too late.

@lindamarie honestly, it is a quibble. If you don't like the episode, don't listen to it. But no, there is no simple way to generate another version, and there was certainly no way to do it in December 2024, which was paramount given the urgency.

Kash Patel lied under oath because he knew there would be no consequences. He knew that he could lie with impunity. When the full impact of Patel and Gabbard are felt, there will be an outmigration from the United States — brain drain unlike anything this country has ever seen.

Multiple first hand reports from Europeans at Davos indicate that the US has been captured by a cult. Some are trying to appeal to the cult, while others are distancing and dealing with the fallout. But make no mistake: Trump/Musk is a cult.

A good practice right now, and I will have trouble doing it but am sure going to try, is to withhold reactions to provocations as long as possible. Allow time for the frontal cortex to engage rather than just letting the amygdala react without reflection.

As folks try to process Trump’s idiotic crypto grift, it would be a good idea to familiarize oneself with one of its predecessors: a scam “currency” in Russia called MMM whose only purpose was to “get rich,” and didn’t hide that it was a naked fraud.

European countries should simply either block or tax the parasitic US big tech companies that insist on violating their laws and roiling their internal affairs. Promote local competition. You don’t need these toxic, retrograde companies.
