@HebrideanHecate The wish to indoctrinated children is always at the bottom of attempts to ban or regulate EHE. Brazil is just saying the quiet part out loud.
@GalacticTurtle There is a lot to see, but if you try to see it all (like I did last time I went) you will be cold, tired stressed and miserable. Better to pick a few things and take your time.
If you have transport, Epping forest, which is just outside London, is a nice place to go and explore.
@ninapaley I I never leave the house without a bra, and usually wear one at home too. My boobs are too big (f or g cup last time I measured) to feel comfortable without one. Since getting a bloody awful sweat rash that turned into a fungal infection, I try not to wear much artificial fibres these days, so finding something comfortable, big enough and made of cotton can be a bit of a ball ache.
@BILLSan345@HebrideanHecate I can't get over him being a multimillionaire. The only thing I can think of that he was in is a radio 4 sitcom, and I don't think they pay that well!
@Sherri_Ingrey@jmakesart@HebrideanHecate@Biff There was that one woman who was pregnant and didn't know which of her four (I think) boyfriends was the father. They were going to all raise it together, but I doubt it ended well.
@Gnomeshatecheese@KeepTakingTheSoma@Flick I had a bear and a blanket that I wouldn't go anywhere without until I started school and wasn't allowed to take them. I don't have many clear memories if being very little, but I think it was like having a piece of home, and maybe even a piece of my mum, with me whenever I had to go anywhere new or nerve wracking.
There's also something quite comforting about having a prop in your hands if you are a nervous person. I think this explains some adult habits (smartphones and cigarettes for example) as well.
@HebrideanHecate@KeepTakingTheSoma His general knowledge round was so embarrassing. It's on youtube. Be warned: you will probably cringe yourself inside out if you watch it.
It would be hilarious except he's in a position of way too much power for someone so stupid.
It's a tempting idea but reminds me too much of free man on the land stuff, which can sound convincing to some until they end up getting their arses handed to them in court.
@HebrideanHecate@KeepTakingTheSoma@GrumpyOldNurse@Flick Then maybe they can get some FGM themselves. To demonstrate how it only hurts and fucks up your health if you are viewing it from an intolerant western perspective.
I'm almost embarrassed to ask, but is spinsterversary the anniversary of spinster being set up or you joining it? Or maybe you are a very early adopter and it's both?
