There's a woman on my tour who... might... know more(???)... about Star Wars(???)... than me??? Anyway we talked during the entire lunch hour while everyone else was staring like 👀. Unfortunately she's married. To a man. Cause if not I'd be like I mean I have a spare room back home we could combine Star Wars collections or something...
She used to work at a comic book store like wtf...
This has never happened before and it probably will never happen again.

Gen Z really does seem prone to anxiety... or at the very least, jumping to extreme conclusions after being given any minor bit of information. And I'm just talking from the perspective of working with them.

@KeepTakingTheSoma @polarisera Ha! At home I still try to do community theater when I can to I guess… recapture the feeling of youth theater participation even though it’s mostly crewed by retired grandpas and performed by 9-5 office workers who still desire to perform.

@KeepTakingTheSoma @polarisera Going by the vibe of the room I belive our more demanding performers have already been knocked down a few pegs by the director and are having an existential crisis.
This can often be soothed with mac and cheese.

@HebrideanHecate Yup. This also made me think about an incident from a couple years back when a man raped a woman on my train line in front of other passengers. No one stepped in. Some did take the opportunity to film it happening though.

Many American women I know are accepting tours or shows that take place in China or the Middle East. And now I'm just thinking... am I the only one who has concerns about going there? Particularly for extended periods of time? Idk, I guess I'm hesitant to travel to where, on any given day, things outside of my control could make having an American passport very risky business. Said the same thing about Russia prior to the current war over there.
