    Hmmm... Loon? No, that's out... Weird? No, only if the person identifies as weird, and even then, it's offensive to use the word in anything but as an affirmation...

    You could say 'I am strongly disappointed by this outcome' but that does sound a bit judgey, doesn't it? Might suggest you aren't 100% supportive of the society wide lunacy, and you know we can't have that, you Nazi bigot hater, you.

    @HebrideanHecate I rather thought interrupting family life was part of the point of incarceration? I mean, unless they start imprisoning the partners and children of convicts, too?

    But, they seem too busy going aft people who do really horrible things, like cause hurty feels or misgendering, or suggesting short haired police officers look like their lesbian grandmother (do we know whatever happened to her?).

At one point during the proceedings, it was mentioned how very hurtful it was that Peggie wouldn't make eye contact and left quickly when they were in the change room at the same time. That's it. Not smiling at someone is enough to get a woman labelled a hateful bigot. Most of the spinsters will see that as a serious red flag.
