   It isn't hard on social media to find posts describing Rowling as "old". One X user tweeted on April 6: "I'm convinced JK Rowling is just the nosy old bird who hates everyone in the neighborhood and does nothing but complain."

   Another said: "Starting to think the reason that @jk _ rowling looks rough for her age is due to how toxic her mentality is.Being an awful person is so draining on the body and one look at her haggard appearance proves that. How is a 59 yr old billionaire out here looking like she's pushing 75".

   Others – all from within the last 24 hours – describe the author as an "old hag", an "old lady shouting at clouds…", a "bitter washed up old c*", an "old witch" and a "disgusting washed up old hag".
