@HebrideanHecate @KeepTakingTheSoma @Brookryn It always strikes me that the idiots who don't stop this say they want to prevent an anti-immigrant backlash, but by not punishing the guilty, they are committing a conspiracy which actually makes anti-immigrant backlash even more vicious and inevitable.

I mean, if a few bad apples got arrested, the locals would side eye the immigrant community, sure. But, when no one gets arrested, the locals assume that the entire immigrant barrel is rotten and the government is in on it, too. That sort of thing is practically guaranteed to lead to violence on a larger scale.
