@HebrideanHecate Marrying off a 12 year old is pretty gross. But, it was not uncommon in the 14th century in Europe for royal girls to be married off for political reasons.

A couple of thoughts;
1) 12 is still too young, but 6 (or 9) is WAY too young.*
2) Europe doesn't do that anymore.

*IIRC, these young brides weren't generally expected to consummate the marriage until they were older. Any history buffs can correct me if I'm wrong.
